If you have windows sharing enabled on your Mac then you can access your home folder via the networking in XP/Win98, you might need to use the Map Network Drive option and enter the IP address of your mac, but it does work.

If you use the SharePoints (http://www.hornware.com/sharepoints/) utility then you can share out other folders to windows clients, thus enabling you to share any folder you wish.
