i have enabled the windows sharing in OSX. when i double click on the OSX machine icon in the network browers of XP i get an error:
"The network path was not found."

anyhelp? this software rocks and will be great if sharing works.

Been there, scratched my head, worked out a solution :D

There's a couple of things you can try.

1) Map a network drive. Right click on my computer and select "map network drive" select a drive letter and then in the server address box enter \\IPAddressOfYourMac\YourHomeFolderName then click next. Enter name and password of the account you've enabled Windows sharing for on the mac. That should map your home folder as a drive.

2) Similar to step one, but isn't a map. Right click on My Network Places and select "search for computers". Enter the IP address of your Mac, it should then show up, simply double click it and enter name and password of the account you've enabled Windows sharing for on the mac. You should then see a window showing you the shares on your computer, which will probably only be your home folder.

this does work but you have to be using en0 not en1 (wi-fi). hope this gets fixed in the future...sucks hard now.
