I'm experiencing some annoying incidents when running my Windows aps in Parallel software. I would like to run Parallels and Boot Camp on the same MacBook Pro to test one against the other. Do I need to un-install Parallels???

You can have both Parallels workstation and Apple Boot Camp simultaneously. I was doing so until last weekend (WindowsXP on both Parallels Workstation and also on the Boot Camp partition). The two installs are completely separate spaces and you need to allocate space for each environments. The more you allocate to Parallels and BootCamp, the less you'll have available on the Mac OS side.
I removed my Boot Camp partition last weekend since I was using the Parallels workstation most of the time. I like the fact that I can easily switch between the Mac OS and Windows XP.
I am experiencing some issues with the workstation (eg: most of my USB devices don't work, including my USB key, burning a CD doesn't work on the Windows XP side ) although I decided to live with this for a while with the expectation that Parallels will soon issue appropriate patches/drivers to resolve these.
I hope this helps.

Thank you very much for your reply.
I am experiencing USB problems as well - IE they don't work.
Hopefully the "Gods" at Parallel may intercept this reply and send us some hope.
