I currently have a 20" iMac Core Duo and I'm looking into replacing my 12" PowerBook with a 13" MacBook. Does the Parallels licensing scheme allow for installation on both a desktop and a laptop or must I purchase two copies?

The Parallels license states that you can install one copy on one machine. So, if you'd like to run Parallels on both, you'll need two copies of the program.
