Finallly managed to get a really ancient Logitech cam to work on Beta Build 5570. The secret was to attach the cam to the USB port at the back of the Mac - not to the port on the keyboard. If attached to the keyboard port the cam was found but the screen was blank.

I take you do not have a built-in camera. iSight drviers work fine for me in all Parallels builds.
What version OSX and what type of Mac do you have?

Most techs could have predicted that for you; there is probably something to that effect in the Camera's docs too. The USB ports on the keyboard can only provide low power to a device.

I use the latest iMac with Leopard OS.
As to the point that the keyboard USB port is low power, I had been aware of that but had temporarily forgotten about it but I posted the original message as I had seen many many messages on various sites where the correspondents had the same result as I originally did - camera found but blank screen. End of my messages on this.
