There is a [C] Microsoft Windows XP hard-drive Image that has appeared on my Mac desktop. It began after I repaired a problem with parallels that required me to re-build or build another VM. I followed the instructions for the repair found on the Parallels
web site now i have this [C] Microsoft Windows XP hard-drive Image that only appears when i start up Parallels desktop. How can i get rid of it? If i trash it will it render Parallels desktop inoperable?

Your directions regarding this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Look in the cofiguration editor...go to shared folders and enable "mount virtual disks to mac desktop"

Took your advice but instead of "enable" I disconnected all and it disappeared. So i guess need to research what i just did and the affect it's gonna have. So i went back and reconnected home folder and all Mac disks. Seems logical that that might be needed.
Thanks for your information. Any further enlightenment would be educational to say the
least.

Thanx.
