View Full Version : Uninstalling One of Two Windows Versions

Hello there,

I have a client who has installed Windows 2000 on their Mac through Parallels. They later then installed Windows XP onto their Mac through Parallels without removing Windows 2000 first. They have come to me annoyed that they have to select a Windows version before Parallels will load it.

How can I remove Windows 2000, leaving Windows XP functional? Thanks!

Hello,

if your client does not need Windows 2000 at all (i.e. your client wants to delete all data from Windows 2000), she/he needs to open a VM with Windows 2000 and in menubar click 'File' -> 'Delete'. This action will delete all information on Windows 2000 including the hard disk image.
