Hi all. I have build 5582 running here, and I noticed a strange behavior since a few days ago. Before, when I ran my Windows Bootcamp installation from Parallels, the partition used to stay mounted (even with a different name, i.e. [C] Microsoft Windows XP). Now, when I run the VM, the icon disappears and comes back after stopping the VM. Any clues?

Heh. It wouldn't stay mounted, what you would see was a share created by Parallels. Things are not always as they appear, and the change in name was a pretty good tip-off.
Do you have the latest security updates from Apple? If so, have you tried upgrading to build 5584? Also, are you running off a network account? And is file sharing to the OS X side selected in the VM preferences.

So:
Yes, I have all sescurity updates; I thought that ast buidl was 5582, and file sharing is enabled (and so it is "Mount virtual disk to Mac destop). What do you mean about "running off a network account"?

I solved the riddle. I didn't knew that MacFUSE was part of the installation, and I removed it due to another issue. Now I reinstalled, MacFUSE is back and so it is the volume mounted. Thanks everyone.
