No.

But, if you've actually installed Windows into Virtual PC, you could try Parallels Transporter.

But how would Transporter work, since I have Virtual PC installed on my older G4 Powerbook? Transporter is only for Intel Macs...Or am I supposed to install Virtual PC again on my new MacBook Pro (Intel)? Could you give a few steps to follow?

No.

I don't remember where these instruction were written and haven't tried them, but it's worth a try.

Burning A Legal Copy of Windows XP Pro or Home SP2
Boot Disks From Virtual PC 6 or 7 For Mac
Here are detailed instructions for owners of Virtual PC (hereafter VPC) 6 or 7 who wish to
convert their legal copy of Windows XP Pro or Home to a boot disk for use on an Intel Mac,
using VPC on their Mac to create the boot disk, and don’t have much knowledge of
Windows and its quirks.
1. In VPC 6 with XP Pro, the second disk is called “Extra Windows Files” but is labelled
WXPP_EN. In VPC 7 with XP Pro, the third CD is called "Additional Windows System Files" but
is labelled WXPP_SP2_EN. These names may vary for Windows XP Home Edition.
2.Take the i386 folder from the second CD (VPC6) or third CD (VPC7) and put it in a new
folder in drive C of VPC Windows named XP-CD.
3. Create a WIN51 and a WIN51IP (Pro edition) or WINIC (home edition) file. Create the files
with SimpleText in OS9. Type the word Windows in each file. The files must be text files (not
RTF) with no extension.
4. Get the WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-ENU.exe file from the Microsoft website
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?DisplayLang=en&FamilyID=049c9dbe-
3b8e-4f30-8245-9e368d3cdb5a
and put it in another new folder in drive C. Name the folder XP-SP2
5. Integrate Service Pack 2 (hereafter SP2) into the XP. Follow the same procedure for VPC 6
& 7 despite VPC7 already having SP2 included:
Go to Windows Start Menu:
Select Run:
Type in:
cmd
And the Command Prompt Window will appear containing:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>
Type in leaving no space before:
cd \
with a space between the d and the \ then hit return the following will appear in the next
line:
C:\>
Type in leaving no space before, but leaving a space between the cd and the XP,
cd XP-SP2
then hit return key, and the following will appear on the next line:
C:\XP-SP2>
Then type with no space in front:
WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-ENU.exe /integrate:C:\XP-CD
Noting the space between the exe and the / , then hit return again.
This will start the integration process which will concludes with a message saying
“Integrated install has completed successfully”.
6. Then put an AUTORUN.INF file into the XP-CD folder. Create the file with SimpleText in
OS9. The Autorun file contains the following instructions:
[AutoRun]
open=setup.exe
icon=setup.exe,0
Just drag the AUTORIN.INF file into the XP-CD folder in Windows.
7. Get the boot image boot.ima here:
http://www.tacktech.com/pub/microsoft/bootfiles/bootfiles.zip
You can put the boot.ima file anywhere on the PC, I suggest in the XP-CD folder, dragged
from the Mac Desktop into the XP-CD Folder in Windows.
8. Burn a bootable CD from the content of the XP-CD folder as explained hereafter:
Launch Nero Burner in Windows. If you don’t have it you can download a demo version from
Nero’s website: nero.com
In Nero, choose “CD” from pull down menu, click on the “Data” icon
Double click on “Make Bootable CD”
In the “New Compilation” window which launches choose in the left column:
Click on “CD-ROM (Boot)”
On the “Boot” tab, under “Source of boot image data”, select “Image file” and browse to the
location of the boot.ima file in the XP-CD folder and double click on boot.ima
Under “Advanced” check “ Enable expert settings” and choose “No emulation” and change
the “Number of loaded sectors” to 4. Under the ISO Tab :
Select Data Mode: Mode 1
File System: ISO 9660+ Joliet
File Name Length (ISO): Max of 31 characters (Level 2)
Character Set: ISO 9660 (standard ISO CD-ROM)
Check all 4 Relax Restrictions boxes
On the “Label” Tab: Check Manual and Type in WXPP_SP2_EN in ISO 9660 and Joliet boxes
Press “New”
The next window titled “ISO Nero Burning ROM”, browse to the XP-CD folder, open it and
select all the folder contents and drag them 2 columns to the left into the empty column,
then hit the “Burn” tab at the top of the window
A “Burn Compilation” window appears:
Check “Write”, “Finalize CD”, “Write Method”: “Track-at-once”, and click on “Burn” at the
bottom of the window
After a progress window, a “Save Image File” window appears prompting you for a “File
Name”. Enter WXPP_SP2_EN or a name of your choice (no spaces) as the file name and
“Save” and the Burn starts.
Because Nero doesn’t recognize the CD Drive in the Mac, an Image file WXPP_SP2_EN.nrg or
“name of your choice”.nrg is created, saved into the My Documents Folder in drive C
Drag the image to a Folder shared with OSX, then drag the image to the Mac desktop.
9. Boot Toast on the Mac
Select Copy from the top of the Toast window
In the Formats to the side of Toast window check "Image File"
Back in the Toast window click on "Select"
Navigate to the image file on the Mac desktop and double click on it.
Click on burn, insert a CD and the rest is history.

Thanks, Ralph!!
I followed the instructions, and created what is hopefully a boot/install CD. I will try it out with Parallels next week when my new MacBook Pro Arrives.

thanks again!!!

Ron

There is a much easier way to accomplish this, but will cost about $30. I had VPC 7 with Windows XP Pro, which I initially thought I would use with BootCamp. However, it did not include SP2, which is required. Not wanting to go through the hassle of "slipstreaming" to create a bootable disk, I called the Microsoft disk replacement number. They asked for the information on my current copy of XP Pro (which is on one of the VPC disks), and sent me a new installation disk of XP Pro with SP2, which I am using with Parallels (having decided I probably do not need BootCamp as yet). They even refunded the shipping fee which they said was charged by mistake.

What reason did you have to tell them for needing a replacment disc?
