Hello,

I have a strange mail problem. I created a new mail account, i made settings for checking/sending mails from outlook express.

The problem is :

When i want to send mail from outlook, it sends without a problem, but when someone tries to send mail to my address it says

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at x.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

<x@x.com>:
Sorry, no mailbox here by that name. (#5.1.1)

How can it possible? There is a mailbox, i can send mails from that mailbox but cant receive any.

Can someone help please?

edit : when i delete mail account and create again, it works for sometime then it starts to give the error above when someone tries to send mail to that mailbox..

Hello,

I asked to my hosting company and they said that something is changing the /var/qmail/users/assign file. They say it can be a one of the running applications that changing this file.

They told me that,

rm -rf /var/qmail/users/assign

/usr/local/psa/admin/bin/mchk --with-spam

commands will recreate the assign file but it is a temporary solution because they need to find which program is causing this. I removed dr.web from the server, i suspect from spamassasin but not %100 sure.

Can anyone help me ?
