Hi,
I successfully installed the software on my 17" iMac, created a VM and installed Windows Server 2003. Unfortunately I can't get networking to work for me on the VM.
I read in the forum that my Airport connection won't be supported in the beta so I now have a legitimate, live Ethernet cable going into the back of my machine that I can ping the IP address of from other machines on my network. However, when I try to access the network from within Server 2003 I don't get anywhere.
I've tried it with both a static IP address as well as with DHCP and neither result gets me anywhere. With DHCP it can't even find my DHCP server so I'm guessing that I don't have any connectivity at all.
Can someone please provide me with suggestions on how I can get this configured? If I can get networking going on this iMac I think I'm going to run to the Apple store and pick up a MacBook Pro! <grin>
