ddraw.dll and other errors
I have DirectX 9.0c installed. iTunes crashes under Windows with coverflow. I looked at the dxdiag app and it tells me 3 files are out of date (the newest of all)
DirectX Files Tab: Several files (ddraw.dll, d3d8.dll, d3d9.dll) are old versions, which could cause problems. You should reinstall DirectX to get the latest version.
I ran direct 3d test and they worked, but direct draw failed. I removed those 3 files and then Direct 3d wouldn't operate.

Any suggestions?

Reinstall the Parallels tools. When you installed DriectX you overwrote some of the files Parallels uses to make their implementation of DriectX work.

Parallels only supports DirectX 8.1, and varying levels of OpenGl depending on your hardware.

Coverflow does not use DirectX under Windows, it uses OpenGL 2.0.

There is a test program you can download here that will tell you what versions of OpenGL are supported by your hardware.

(run the test program in Windows)
