Shared Networking stopped working

Shared networking used to be working on my installation but not longer does so. I have 3188 and Mac OS X 10.4.9 Build 8P2137. Maybe some security patch of Mac OS X disabled parallels networking? BTW: Bridged NW works. The ethernet adapters "Parallels Host-Guest" and "Parallels NAT" are present but show a red dot in OS X network configuration.
