No Windows Media playback-why

I'm a new Parallels user- just bought 3.0. Installation wnet fine, except it is very slow with kapersky potection running.. so turned it off...

Main prolem is videos do not work at all... even from the MS pages.... is there a trick to this... flash videos play fine, and I installed QT and those videos play. One would think running VISTA Business version it would play windows derived videos out of the box.

Any help appreciated...

I had this problem with embedded youTube video. Thanks for this post. I've been banging my head for 2 days trying to test a community video site. Killing Kaspersky made everything go back to normal.

Any hope of making Kaspersky media friendly SWSoft?
