Mouse freeze briefly?

I installed Parallels Workstation 2.2.2222 under Window XP with a guest OS also XP. Just testing the program and see how it does.
I find the mouse pointer keeps freezing briefly for couple seconds in the guest OS. Does anyone else have the same problem? Is there a solution for that?
