Hi - I have an existing XP install from the retail boxed version of Parallels Desktop... prior to the release candidates and betas...
Is it possible to migrate my XP install over to Boot Camp, or do I need to do a fresh one?
Thanks & Regards...

.
You need to read more widely. Try starting with the forum description.
Or pose your question on a boot camp forum.

What do you mean? This is very unhelpful... I have been looking for exactl;y the same response.
How about getting a 'sticky' message detailing the procedure. I have searched for more than a few hours now, to no avail.

I think what he means is that questions should be posted to the operating system specific technical forum and not to the "How To" forum which is documented as a place for answers, not questions. He could have been a bit more specific.

Or he could subscribe to the theory that they should be thinking for themselves.

These forums move at a brisk pace, and tracking down a single thread can sometimes be time-consuming. There's no need to post if all you've got to offer is a snide remark.
Here's the last post I remember seeing with a detailed HowTo on migrating from a Parallels install to a Boot Camp partition. If anyone has a newer/better walkthrough, I'd love to see it.
