I'm having an issue booting my FreeBSD VM after that latest Parallels update - 10.1.1 (28614).

    FreeBSD boot message:
    ...
    ugen1.2 <Parallels> at usbus1
ahcich0: Poll timeout on slot 0 port 0
    ahcich0: is 00000000 cs 00000001 ss 00000000 rs 00000001 tfd 40 serr 00000000 cmd 10000c013

Then freezes with all virtual cores continuing to running at 100%.

    Parallels: Version 10.1.1 (28614)

I can confirm the problem exists.
Could you change virtual HDD and DVD devices from SATA to IDE as a workaround?

    Specimen and Elijah_Cornell like this.

I was able to boot successfully after changing both the HDD and DVD devices to use IDE.

    Thank,
    Eli

    This works for me too.
    Thanks a lot!
Is this already raised with the vendor so they can work on a permanent fix?
