I installed a new Snow Leopard Server VM. After one day's normal use, I shut down my VMs and Parallels. On start-up today, this VM will not accept any of my typical username/password combinations.

The reset options I know of either require a disc, which I cannot access through this VM--or the command line, which doesn't work using a typical approach such as restarting in single-user mode (Command-S).

Any ideas on how I can reset username and password in the virtual SLS? Thank you!

    Hi karendesign
If you have a disk have you tried adding it, via hardware option?
Action-configure-hardware-CDDVD 1- Choose an image file -then select the file

or you can try and add a cd-dvd rom by opening the lock selecting the + sign just above the lock and mounting it that way. (you may have to change the boot order to the new dvd drive for this to work)
