Default fatal: open database /var/spool/postfix/plesk/poplock.db: Invalid argument

    Hello,

I have this error on /var/log/mail.info:

    root@xxx:/var/log# grep fatal mail.info
May 17 12:06:01 xxx postfix/postmap[17696]: fatal: open database /var/spool/postfix/plesk/poplock.db: Invalid argument

The error is every 10 minutes. My server is Ubuntu with plesk 9.5.2. Any ideas?

    Thanks a lot

Try to rebuild this database with following method:

    # /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mailmng --stop-service
    # mv /var/spool/postfix/plesk/poplock.db /var/spool/postfix/plesk/poplock.db_
    # /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mchk --with-spam
    # /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mailmng --start-service
    I hope it will help.

I had the same problem with other db files.
After running the examle of IgorG, I got an failed message. I had to delete the complete /var/spool/postfix/plesk folder to be succesfull.

After this I was able to run the mchk utility without any problems.

    So to be complete:

    # /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mailmng --stop-service
    # mv /var/spool/postfix/plesk /var/spool/postfix/plesk.backup
    # /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mchk --with-spam
    # /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mailmng --start-service

    Thanks IgorG!!
