Parallels 5 issues

    I'm running OS X 10.6.6 with Win 7 on Parallels 5. I had an issue where I couldn't drag and drop a file from the mac side to Outlook on the window side. Reinstalliling Parallel tools solved this issue, but now I cannot open an .exe file from my mac desktop and have it open on the windows desktop no matter what window view I am in.
