    Could you let me know how to upgrade PHP from 5.1.6 to 5.2.12?

    PHP for hosting is not shipped by Parallels with SMB distribution kit. It is OS vendor's PHP. Therefore you can upgrade it from vendor's repository, from third-party repository or compile it from source.
