Windows reading Mac files twice?
Hi all,
Running Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit) in Parallels Desktop 6 on my new iMac (Snow Leopard), with the Mac's 'home' folders shared and visible in Windows.
I've installed MediaMonkey on the VM and imported ('add/rescan') the music from my Mac 'Music' folder into its (empty) library, resulting in every file appearing twice. One copy has the path showing as 'T:\Users\Music\...' while the other one shows something like 'pts\Users\Music...' (can't remember the first part, but it's the Mac's name for the home drive).
It seems that Windows thinks there are actually 2 copies of each file.
Any idea why this would happen and how I can prevent this?
