I know that using Bridged Networking it allows me to use Active FTP which is great when I'm connected to a wireless network, I can simply select the default inteface with the bridged network (all good).

However if I turn off the wireless and connect my 3G Telstra connection I have to switch the interface to the Parallels Virtual Interface which is apparently bridged but I have since found out that it obviously isn't as my Active FTP is no longer working in this configuration.

This is very frustrating to say the least as it is not possible for me to use Active FTP using the 3G connection (wireless isn't available everywhere I go, but 3G is).

I have tried using ICS but ICS is very specific and doesn't meet my needs, I would need to configure rules to allow ports 1024-60000 to be used with Active FTP.

Any assistance would be great, I'm pretty close to throwing in the towel and asking for my money back.
