I use Parallels on my Mac 10.4 system and love it. I help and support VMWare for many users, and find Parallels, at least on the Mac, far superior.

I haven't been able to find anything about Parallels with 64-bit CentOS 5 as host (CentOS is aka RedHat Enterprise).

What are people's experiences between VMWare and Parallels with Linux as host? Particularly with CentOS/RedHat?

I am looking to take full advantage of a dual quad-core, 32 GB desktop system, and the user really wants Windows XP, but is fully able on Linux, and CentOS is the preferred distro.
I'd consider Windows XP 64-bit as host, but some Adobe products don't seem to play well with 64-bit Windows according to some Adobe forums.

    Thanks.
