I have the Transporter Agent installed and working on my Ubuntu 10.10 server. Destination host machine is running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Transporter program on the destination machine that came with Parallels Workstation 6 for Windows and Linux can see the agent. When I enter the credentials of a user on the Ubuntu server that does have administrator access, Transporter responds with popup box saying "Administrator's password is required. You need to type an administrator's name and password to be able to perform the migration." I am 100% certain that the user account I am using does have Administrator access. Please advise.

    Hello SilvrDrgn!

Could you please post here passwd, hidden without any hashes of course.
Maybe you really didn't give enough rights to the user.

As far as I know, Ubuntu is installed/configured by default with no root account or password. So, I assume this means I have to create the account and give it a password. Correct?

Ubuntu have random root password. You can use passwd to change root password.
