Transfer Activation Key

I recently purchased a used MacBook Pro. With it, the owner gave me his Parallels 5 CD, documentation, and activation key. He had upgraded to PD6 and gave me the upgrade key as well. Is there a way for me to have the keys switched over to my name so that I can use the programs? If so, is there a way to do that without having to pay $15-20 just to speak with someone in support?

If the keys are registered under another user's account, we will need the user's permission to re-register the keys to you.

Please ask the original owner of the keys to contact us with the request to re-register the keys to your account. It is importnant that the person contact us from the same e-mail address that the keys are registered under.
