I need to network a pc to this MacBook Pro. No matter what I do, the computers cannot see each other on the network.

Also, I have software that is not Mac compatible. It's been causing a lot of problems. Unfortunately, I need the software very much.

Is there anyway to just make this MacBook a Windows Machine? Currently, Windows is the guest operating system (I think that's how you say it). This is driving me crazy.

    I sincerely appreciate any help.

P.S. I'm running the latest version of parallels. The computer is a month old. There have never been any upgrades on hardware or software.

you need to open Virtual Machine menu for the VM, go to Configure --> Hardware --> Network and check if you have Shared Network Mode. Than in Options --> Sharing choose Share Folder --> All disks and check every checkbox there. enable everything in Applications pane as well. If you need more advice - contact Tech support at www.parallels.com/support - you should have free support if Parallels is less than a month old
