    Hi,

I've a Mac Pro (Quad core with 32 GB) and I've installed Win XP 64bits.
I'm obliged to work with Windows because I'm using SAS with huge datafiles (> 6 GB) and the SAS operations could be optimized under Windows XP 64.
Can I allocate more than 4GB for Win XP 64 bits ?
    Thanks for assistance

    Luc

I don't want to sound counter productive, but XP 64 bit is an odd beast, very poorly supported by software and drivers on the Windows side, very few installations, if you have to use 64 bits I would recommend Windows 7 which is much more well supported and in terms of performance and resources should be equal or better to XP 64. So, if you can, use Win7 64.

Thanks for your opinion but I don't have the choice due to my entreprise : we are still using win xp and I can't use win 7 yet.
