    Hi,

I have a Win7 VM with Host-Only networking running on Parallels Desktop 8 / Mac OS 10.7.5 (Lion).

On the Windows side, the Network control panel tells me that it has IP address 10.37.129.5, with the DHCP server at 10.37.129.1, both of which ping successfully. On the Mac side, all pings on these addresses fail, and neither the Network System Preferences nor the Network Utility show the Parallels Desktop Host-Only Adapter that, according to the documentation, is supposed to be there. What's going wrong?

I found a KB article on how to show the Parallels Network adaptors in the Mac OS X Network Preferences. How do I do the equivalent in Parallels Desktop 8?

    Thanks,

Never mind, for some unknown reason it started working: I now see "Parallels Host-Only #1" and "Parallels Shared #0" in the System Preference Network panel, and I can communicate. Temperamental little thingy...
