Hi, I am using Parallels V8 (latest version as of today) on my macbook pro Retina Display. I want to give more ram to my virtual machine, however I can't find the setting. I've closed the virtual machine so I should be able to see that setting. I've noticed that when I start Parallels It automatically goes into Power saving mode. Maybe this is the cause? I guess this is because I'm not plugged in to power. I would still like to disable power saving mode/ Increase the amount of ram my virtual machine gets. Any idea how to do so?

    Hello,

To increase your virtual machine's RAM volume:

    1. Open your virtual machine list (virtual machine should be not running) - Right click on the Parallels Desktop icon in the Dock -> Virtual Machines List.
    2. Right click on the needed machine (if you have multiple) -> Configure ...
    3. in General tab you will see "Memory" -> now you able to manipulate it.

Regarding the Power Safe mode: its automatically goes to save the power if your Mac is not connected with the power cable (working on internal batteries). It is not related to the Random Access Memory (RAM).
