We have parallels Desktop 9 running on a MacBook Pro, with a Win7 32-bit VM inside it. We're set up for bridged networking. When connected to the office WiFi, the Windows machine gets a valid IP address for the network, and Outlook and IE work fine.

If the user takes the MacBook home and tries to work off-site, the Windows VM does not get an IP address passed through the bridge, but gets a self-assigned 169.xxx.xxx.xxx address. We tried to troubleshoot here in the office by using an AT&T 4G USB mobile adapter, and get the same thing. The Mac gets internet connectivity and can browse, but the Win7 VM does not get an IP address in the same subnet range as the Mac.

This is keeping this employee from being able to use Outlook via HTTP from outside the office. We initially thought it might have something to do with Parallels 7 (which she was on), so we upgraded to 9, but that didn't fix the issue.
