Since Mavericks & PD9 update, PD9 takes at least up to 25% of CPU!!!

    25% this is too much, and far from the low use before the update.
    The result is that the fan's of my Macbook Pro are running nearly all of time!!
    It's happen even if it is a XP or W7 VM

    Thanks to give me eventual advise, or, for parrallels make a patch to correct that BIG ISSUE!!

    Something is wrong on your system.

    On my system PD9 itself runs with less than 2% CPU and my Windows 7 VM at idle is eating about 10% CPU, but that is measured by Activity monitor per core - so on 8 core machine the real, total, load of the system is less than 4%. That is with Mavericks and latest PD9.

    I would uninstall PD9, reinstall latest version, rebooted and tried again. If that does not fix it, I would contact Parallels.
