I don't think this is related to the guest OS, but who knows...

My host is a Macbook Pro Retina 10,1 (Mid 2012). So, no NIC, just Thunderbolt.

I have installed Parallels desktop and CentOS into a VM. When using the "Shared Network" setting, everything works fine. But I want to use Bridged.

When I bridge to my WiFi connection, everything works. The VM get's a unique IP from the DHCP server and all is good. But, it's data is obviously traveling over my WiFi connection. I am plugged into a gigabit network using a Thunderbolt to Ethernet adapter and it works great for OS X. However, when I select that network in the bridged setting, the VM never receives an IP. I've tired generating new MAC's to no avail. I've also tried the selection "Default Adapter" with no luck. I have tried having my WiFi connection on and off to see if that made a difference and it does not.

    Any ideas?
