Since updating to Mavericks and PD9, My Mac freezes within minutes of PD9 being loaded up. I can move the beach ball around the screen but have to power Mac off to be able to use it again.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers

    Hi dodgyfeas,

Re-installing Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac after repairing permissions of your Mac HD should help. Please follow the steps outlined below:

    2. Launch Disk utility from Finder>Applications>Utilities>Disk Utility.app
    3. Click on Mac HD on the left pane.
    4. Select First Aid on the top of the box.
    5. Click on Repair disk permissions on the right pane.
    6. Install the latest build for Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac following: http://kb.parallels.com/116989
    7. Re-install Parallels Tools in your Virtual Machine: http://kb.parallels.com/4841

    Thanks,
