Upgrading From XP to Windows 8

    OK, I have to admit I'm a bit lost when it comes to which Windows product to purchase, from say Amazon, to upgrade my existing Parallels 8, Windows XP virtual machine to Windows 8.

    Of course I would like to keep as much of my data as I can, including applications and the their setting, if that's possible. But I understand that might be tricky or impossible.

    Oh, if it helps, I'm running the latest version of Mavericks.
