I am working with Parallels 6.0.12106 on Mac Intel Dual Core 10.6.8 (you don't offer this version in yout po-up menu). Since I work not too often with it, this problem didn't bother me too much, but now it's just enough. - Since many months, Parallels has been stopped while loading Windows, gibing the error message that ODBC 32dll "is no valid Windows data". A file named "msgina.dll" could not be loaded. My attempts to repair the software via update or using the system CD ROM failed dozens of times.
Hi Tomas Eckardt, Please re-install Parallels Desktop on your Mac. Follow the steps given : 1. Please uninstall Parallels Desktop (http://kb.parallels.com/9087) 2. You may download Parallels Desktop 6 installation file using this link : http://download.parallels.com//desk...sDesktop-parallels-en_US-6.0.12106.692267.dmg 3. Double click the downloaded Parallels Desktop 6 installation file with .dmg extension and and it will be mounted to Finder then double-click the Install icon. Thanks, Manoj D
Thomas problem seems to be with the Windows installation and not Parallels, it isn't Parallels that is crashing, it's Windows, and the .dll mentioned are Windows files.
Thanks to both Hi to both of you, just wanted to give you thanks for your answers. When I will find the time, I will try what you recommend and might come back to the forum.
