When I run Parallels Desktop for Mac (Build9.0.24229), it does not show any window and does not activate Windows! From the menu bar, the menu item "checking updates ..." become grey, and it repeats this status even after re-running Parallels Desktop for Mac! Sometimes it is fixed after system restart. Then I set "No checking for updates", but Parallels Desktop for Mac still cause this error! I also reinstalled , but it still occurs!

Uninstall Parallels Desktop 9 as steps suggested at: http://kb.parallels.com/116992 “Your Virtual machines will not be affected by this procedure - only Parallels Desktop application will be uninstalled”. 2. Download parallels Desktop 9 latest build from www.parallels.com/directdownload/pd9 3. Install Parallels Desktop 9: http://kb.parallels.com/116989
Thanks for advices. I found it is caused by the conflict(?) between Paralles desktop and scan (http://www.xscanmac.com/english/index.php). When I found this problem, I checked installed applications, and then it is caused by scan (by stopping the usage of scan, Parallels desktop works normally).
