In my Windows 8 VM, mouse click events are disabled while typing. This doesn't seem to happen in native Windows 8 or in OSX (which is what I'm running natively). Does anyone know of a way to keep this from happening? Google search results seem to all be related to trackpads/touchpads, whereas this is happening with a USB mouse. Furthermore, I cannot find any settings in Control Panel -> Mouse or Control Panel -> Keyboard...
Hi gradinafrica, Please follow the steps as suggested below: 1. (Re)Install Parallels Tools as suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/4841 2. Go to VM Configure (http://kb.parallels.com/117287) > Hardware > Mouse & Keyboard > Select Smart Mouse and change it to Don’t optimize for games > Restart Windows Virtual Machine > Start using Mouse and let us know how it works.
