I purchased/downloaded Windows 8.exe file. How do I get Parallel to install it?
(I am on a MacBook Pro; Mid 2010; Maverick)
Microsoft was no help. When I asked for an "iso image file", they said they don't sent those files out. Then they kept sending me links to download the exact same file I was trying to open. UGH!

If I run the Parallels Wizard file and tell it to "continue without a source", will that allow me to run the Windows 8 .exe file?

    Any help is appreciated!

So I was able to locate a Dell computer and run the .exe file, then save it as an iso image file to my thumb drive. (I went to the link below for directions.) Too bad Parallels doesn't give you this info in the beginning. Also it would be nice if they tell you "iso image file" instead of just "image file" so you can search for what it means. I've been at this for 6 straight hours! Now, I just need to find out why it keeps crashing. Wish me luck!! LOL
