I just updated to Parallels 10. (But this problem existed for me in Parallels 9 as well.) I have one external hard drive that I want to use in both Parallels and for backing up my Mac. So I want Parallels to always ask me which machine do I want to connect to. But it doesn't -- the hard drive always connects to the Mac. In Preferences, I have it set to "ask me which to choose." But it doesn't. Also, this hard drive is not listed in the box of permanently assigned external devices. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Brian
