HUGE Time Machine backups. Parallels 10 any better?

I, of course, want to keep my Windows VM backed up. Two things bug me. One is that with snapshots, the disk usage is huge. The other is that every time a snapshot happens, the amount of data backed up is massive, and as a result, this one computer's TM backup hogs the time capsule. I edit a handful of files in Windows, and then it has to backup 32 gigabytes? What's going on with that? Shouldn't the snapshot be incremental? It's not like that much data in the VM disk is actually changed.

So I was wondering: Is Parallels 10 any better in this regard?

I just use Windows in a VM for Java development. I'm not doing anything really demanding. So I'm not seeing a compelling reason to upgrade to Parallels 10. But if it saved me disk space, I would consider it.
