1 - Add OpenGl support to the Linux Parallels Tools video driver
2 - Or as an altrenative I would like to see Parallels work with VMGL to provide OpenGL for Linux VM's.

VMGL (formerly Xen-GL) is an OpenGL solution that works with VMware. For my Linux OpenGL development I must use VMware or Boot Camp.

    Thanks for reading!

Sadly, prior to my purchasing of Parallels I had called the sales office and spoke at length with someone who assured me that I'd be able to run OpenGL games in Ubuntu Linux. Now that I've gone and wiped my whole system and setup OSX+Parallels from scratch I'm rather let down by the lie I was told. Specifically I had asked something along the lines of "So all I should need to do is install the nvidia driver in my Linux guest and I'd have OpenGL running?" to which the rep replied an emphatic yes. Had I known that Linux has no real support for OpenGL, I'd never have purchased Parallels.
