Hello, I am trying to install Fedora 11 Linux in a virtual machine on my Macbook Pro running Snowleopard. As the installation of Linux starts I get an error message stating "Error processing drive sda. Maybe it needs to be reinitialized. You will loos all data in this drive." and then I am given a choice to either reinitialize drive or ignore drive. When I tried ignore, the installation would not complete. If I reinitialize drive, will I lose all of my MAC data, or is this simply referring to the drive space allocated strictly for the virtual machine? Please Advise. Thanks.
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=492082#c14 Virtual disk is a file. So, if you are not using your virtual drive as existing bootcamp partition, you won't loose any Mac data, it is simply referring to the drive space allocated strictly for the virtual machine.
