Vista RC1: hangs at shutdown... With 1898 I have a basically working Vista RC1. It has the choppy audio problem that has been reported elsewhere. The main issue is that the VM does not shut down cleanly. After a looong pause I have to press the red square to kill the VM. On the next launch of Vista I see "Windows did not shutdown properly" and have to click to capture the mouse and then press Enter to start Vista. |

It is strange that Microsoft hides the shutdown. The icon that looks like a shutdown is really a sleep button. I'm guessing sleeping the OS inside a VM doesn't work too well. Like others, I do have the audio problem. The sound is very choppy and never plays all the way through without breaking up. |
