VM won't boot if Mac is not connected to the net

VM won't boot if Mac is not connected to the net
DOn't know if this has already been reported. (too many posts now to read them all).
I found that if my Mac had no connection to the internet, the VM session would die while booting windows. The only way to prevent this from happening was to modify the VM settings to disable the network for the VM. Obviously that shouldn't be necessary.
