ditto. same thing.

Will not allow me to Enable Coherence in the Parallels Tools Center. Uninstalled tools and reinstalled with no luck.

MacBook 2Ghz, 2GB RAM, 10.4.8, XP Pro - boot camp.

A fine update. I've had no problems whatsoever with my MBP (1.83 GHz, 1.5MB, Boot Camp partition under Parallels). The reactivation issue when booting between Boot Camp and Parallels is gone. Coherence is much better--love the integration with the OS X dock. And USB 2 is working well with my Cruzer thumb drive. The more you guys refine Parallels, the less visible it becomes.

Problem with multiple os x users and parallels/bootcamp
I have two OS X user accounts. One is administrator, the other user.

I installed parallels 3094 beta 2 under the admin account.

Whenever I try to run the VM for the user account I am asked to verify with an Administrator Acccount to allow modification of the Parallels Desktop.

Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Regards

John

Anyone care to mirror this, if it's allowed?

Downloading from Parallels is impossible right now.

RESUME is broken!!

When I try to start a suspended XP VM the last screen opens, the bar showing the loading of the resumed session (which appeared in 1970) does not show and after a couple of secs the VM crashes.

I’m going back to good old 1970

Unable to open disk image Boot Camp! error :(
System: Mac Pro 2x2.66ghz, 4GB RAM, OS X 10.4.8, Radeon x1900xt.

Results of mount:
/dev/disk4s2 on / (local, journaled)
devfs on /dev (local)
fdesc on /dev (union)
<volfs> on /.vol
/dev/disk3 on /Volumes/Big Mac (local, journaled)
automount -nsl [199] on /Network (automounted)
automount -fstab [231] on /automount/Servers (automounted)
automount -static [231] on /automount/static (automounted)
/dev/disk2s2 on /Volumes/Untitled (local, read-only)

I have Windows XP Pro SP2 (32 bit) installed. It is on its own internal drive (it is /dev/disk2s2 as Untitled volume in the above). I have a total of 4 internal drives: one Mac OS X boot, one Windows NTFS boot, and two Mac OS X drives striped as a RAID.

Help! :)

Another Mirror
Thanks to Kage Musha I have the build, so to return the favor:

http://twoseat.com/temp/ParallelsDesktop3094Macen.dmg

Again, I'll leave this up for half a day or so, unless the site admins/Parallel folks request otherwise.

Disastrous installation
Disaster.

I have been running Parallels with XP successfully since I bought my Mac Pro about 10 days ago. The installer on disk refers to it as 1940 with a date of Oct 11 2006 - is that build 1940?.

I tried to install 3094 but it failed to recognise my VM or my original serial number. I then tried to reinstall my original version from CD after removing all the Parallels elements that I could find (using the uninstaller and manually).

In spite of deinstallation the old installer gave a message "The chosen volume contains software which is newer than the software you are installing." When I proceeded I got the alert "You cannot continue. There is nothing to install." That was that.

I then tried to install 3094 again but the installer hung 3/4 of the way through - several attempts, several restarts.

I am not able to install either my original or the new version. Where do I go from here?

Unable to boot into Bootcamp
I too haven't been able to boot into Bootcamp with either beta. I keep hearing that one must uninstall the original Parallels Tools for Bootcamp, but I can't find any such file or program on my Bootcamp partition. There is no "uninstall" feature for the installer application. I wonder if it ever installed it in the first place (under beta 3036), even though I ran it several times.

Anyway, I'm running on a MacBook core 2 duo, 2Ghz, 1GB RAM, 120GB HD & the standard Bootcamp partition of about 11-GB, WinXP Pro SP 2 corp. edition with no activation required. I've also installed the standard Paralles VM using the same Windows install, which works great. I'd really like to get rid of the VM on my Mac partition to free up space.

When I try to launch the BC VM I get the "Unable to open disk image Boot Camp" dialogue box (Same with beta 3036).

Any ideas?

FWIW if you had installed it, it would appear in the Add/Remove Programs in the Windows Control Panel.

That's the first place I looked and it's not there, so I assume it never installed.

So, now what do I do to get the BC VM to launch?

Got Coherence working, sort of
I just discovered that if I move the Parallels window to my MBP's built-in screen then enter Coherence mode, it works fine. If the window is on the second monitor, then entering Coherence mode makes the main monitor go partially black and the Parallels window disappears.

If it makes any difference, my main monitor is to the left of and slightly below the second one; see attached screenshot.

when I download the disk image and try to open it I get the following error on my MBP.
Parallels Desktop 3094 Mac en.dmg failed to mount reason not recognized!

Any idea when this will be fixed or where I can get a good image from?

Lucky you!

I have a large main screen to the left of a small aux screen (macbook display). They line up at the bottom. The menu bar is of course on the main screen, and the dock is on the right edge of the macbook display.

If I start it with the Paralells window on the large external screen, it just slides off the left and then the macbook display goes black until I go back to OS View.

If I start it with Parallels on the small screen, it does start, but I can't get the windows to move on to the main screen. If I position a window in such a way that it should be straddling both screens, it just gets cut off at the border - I see the half on the laptop screen and nothing on the main screen.
