Kubuntu will run live but won't install

Kubuntu screen res won't go above 1024x768 If anyone out there is using Kubuntu (Dapper beta) on their MBP have you been able to get a screen resolution greater than 1024x768? In my SUSE 10.0 I'm able to get full screen, 1280x800 or other combos using YaST to reconfigure the boot loader. However Ubuntu seems to be limiting me to 1024x768 or maybe 1280x1024 (can't use that for obvious reasons). Can someone familiar with Ubuntu clue me in? There must be a way to achieve similiar resolutions to SUSE... TIA, Peter |
