I have a problem with a Macbook Pro with Mac OS X Lion.

First Weeks I installed PD6 with Windows XP and everything went fine.

But after an upgrade to Version 7 I can´t shut down my MacBook, it stays with an grey desktop.
First I talk to the Apple Support and they told me to move the Parallels-files form /Library/LaunchAgents and /Library/LaunchDaemons out of the folder. So Mac OS X can shutdown but -no surprise- Parallels Desktop is dead!

Can you tell me how to fix it???

Mac OS X Lion, Parallels Desktop 7 and Windows XP Guest are all up to date.

    Thanks

Have I to go back to Bootcamp?

Or is it possible to downgrade to Parallel Desktop 6 without problems?

Have you moved the parallels files back to their original places?

Yes you can downgrade without problems, but I would recommend you first fix the Launchagent and demon files by putting them back into place, run permissions repair, uninstall PDM7 and install it again and see if it works well.

Yes, of course. But then I can´t shutdown Mac OS X.
So, in the Moment I have two states:
With the files in the Library-folders, I can work with Parallels Desktop, but can´t shutdown Mac OS X Lion
Without the Parallel-Files the MacBook switch off two seconds after I give him the shutdown-command, but I can´t work with PD.
It´s no problem to switch between this states if I copy the files there or move them back again.

I already tried to reinstall it in this way: http://kb.parallels.com/112189
But it´s the same issue after that.

    Repair permissions before uninstalling.

Sorry, that was not the solution.

But I think there is an incompatibility with the installed
LANCOM Advanced VPN Client V2.01 for Mac OS X

I think there is a problem with the virtual Network-adapters from Parallels and LANCOM.

If I uninstall the VPN-Client Parallels Desktop 7 works. If I reinstall the VPN-client, only the VPN-client works.
But, sorry, the VPN-client is more important than PD.

I hope Parallels can fix it in the future. I will send this message to LANCOM, too. Maybe it helps...

    Thanks
