Purchased Parallels 3.0. Vendor shipped 2.5. How do I get a 3.x activation code

Hello,

I recently purchased Parallels 3.0 from newegg to upgrade my current 2.5 installation.
After being unsucesful upgrading the software, I finally realized that Newegg sent me the 2.5 media and activation code. I downloaded and installed the 3.0 build 5086 but cannot activate it.

How can I obtain the 3.0 activation code? Unfortunately I cannot find any support number to call to try to get this resolved over the telephone and the web support form does not seem to work.

I have a support call opened in Newegg, but have not had a response from them yet.

They should provide you activation code, they have a pool of keys and gives them out with purchase

 

Newegg's response was to issue me an RMA as they could not guarantee that I would receive version 3.0 if I reordered through them. No offer of giving me an activation code which is OK. I would want the original 3.0 media anyhow.

hm, I can only provide download link for builds, keys are their responsibility as they have a pool
