    HI

Does anyone know what the configd process does?

Every now and then I see it and when it is running it acan take anything up to 80% CPU.

I don't recall ever seeing it running without Parallels running so was wondering if it is part of it.

WHen it is running at this level there is another process kernel_task that also hogs CPU.

Currently I have 75% on one CPU and 85% on the other!!!!!!!!

    HELP PLEASE.

Does not give any indication why it should be hogging CPU when Parallels is running ?

I was responding to his explicit question "does anyone know what configd does?"
